It’s A Jolly Holly Creek Christmas

It is that time of the year again and I think we can all agree that we could use a little extra Christmas in 2020. You may be wondering how you can celebrate the holidays during a pandemic. Well, I am here to share some events that are happening this year that are all taking the precautions necessary in keeping their guests safe.

The first event that I want to talk about is the Jolly Creek Holiday Festival and Marketplace. This is an outdoor, socially distanced Holiday Village with Christmas concerts. It is a fun way to experience the magic of the holidays with your entire family.

Jolly Creek was created by an amazing team of creative individuals as a way to keep performers and entertainers employed during the holiday season. They are committed to giving back to the community as well. They are partnering with Feed Hope Now and donating a portion of their proceeds to the Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida.

Tickets to Jolly Creek start at $22 per ticket for guests 10 years old and older. For children under 10, tickets start at $14. Children 3 and under are free. There are discounts for essential workers and annual passholders. Essential workers can save 15% by using code ESSENTIAL at checkout. They just have to provide an essential worker ID, badge or business card to gain entry. Annual Passholders can save 10% by using code AP at checkout. They have to bring their valid annual pass from either Disney, Universal, Legoland, Fun Spot, Sea World or Busch Gardens to gain entry. Guests can save as much as 35% off the door price if tickets are purchased online. This event is a limited capacity event and may sell out.

There are multiple activities that are included with the general admission ticket, which are:

      – Access to the vendor marketplace

      – Annabelle the Alligator Scavenger Hunt

      – Access to the holiday village which is covered in beautiful lights, decorations and fun photo opportunities

      – Socially-distanced meet and greet with Santa Claus

      – All outdoor Christmas concerts

Aside from the activities that come with the general ticket, Jolly Creek offers variety of optional activities and merchandise that are available at additional costs:

      – Holiday and traditional s’mores: starting at $5

      – Unique Jolly Creek merchandise

      – Holiday crafting kits: starting at $4

      – Holiday Gem Mining: starting at $7

The onsite Boggy Bottom BBQ restaurant will be open serving up classic BBQ dishes along with a Holiday special menu. There are VIP Upgraded experiences that are available in limited capacities. These experiences include (based on the ticket selection) reserved seating, discounts and dedicated parking.

Jolly Creek puts safety first with COVID-19 safety procedures. All staff, vendors, entertainers and guests will have their temperatures checked prior to entering the holiday village. Face coverings must be worn at all times with your nose and mouth covered, except when eating or drinking while stationary. The holiday village has plenty of social-distancing markers and signs. Their seating area has their seats arranged to promote social distance while viewing the concerts. The seats are wiped down by their Helpers in between guests.

Jolly Creek is a fun event to be shared with your friends, family and loved ones. If you are looking for a place that captures the joy of Christmas, this is the event for you. The event begins on November 20, 2020 and runs until January 2, 2021 with two special nights, Paw-liday Nights and New Year’s Eve Bash. Check out their website for all of the details and any additional information.
